Social media for machinery, vehicles & technical companies
Social media for machinery and technical products.
Products, applications, customer projects, trade shows and people within the company continuously provide relevant topics. We turn them into social media communication that is technically sound and works consistently — as an individual campaign, targeted content production or ongoing channel management.
We take on exactly the parts where additional capacity or specialist expertise is needed internally — from topic planning and production to publishing, community management and ongoing development.
New topics emerge constantly. What matters is turning them into relevant communication.
Product launches, applications, customer projects, service topics, trade shows and questions from the market continuously provide new material. What matters is identifying which topics are relevant to the audience and adapting them to the platform where they will be used.
To do this, we combine product understanding, topic planning, content production, publishing and ongoing development.

What social media can achieve
What should social media achieve for your company?
01
Make products easy to understand.
Explain technical differences, applications and product benefits so prospects understand what makes a product relevant.
02
Make your work and expertise visible.
Show projects, real-world applications and services that hardly anyone outside the company gets to see.
03
Stay visible between product launches and trade shows.
Maintain an ongoing presence for products, the company and its expertise instead of appearing only around individual events.
04
Let practice speak for itself.
Customers, users and real applications add credible experience to the manufacturer's perspective.
05
Become more tangible as an employer.
Show people and everyday work – without turning the channel into a pure recruiting page.
06
Support product launches and trade shows with targeted campaigns.
Complement organic content with paid social for defined audiences or relevant regions.
Own platform experience
Not just advising on social media. Building it ourselves.
Our social media experience began in 2011 with AgrartechnikHD. Topic planning, production, publishing, community management and analysis have been handled entirely in-house ever since.
This gives us direct experience of which topics matter to technical audiences, how content performs across different platforms and how channels develop over time. We apply this experience to client projects wherever it fits the audience, platform and task.
The scope depends on the task and the resources already available internally. We have supported KUMM Technik continuously since the end of 2020. For FORTUNA, by contrast, we developed a clearly defined social media campaign around AGRITECHNICA.
Continuous social media communication
KUMM Technik
Since the end of 2020, we have managed social media communication for KUMM Technik across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Topic planning, content production, publishing, community management and paid social interact continuously.
For FORTUNA, we combined social-first content, editorial planning, publishing and community management into a campaign around AGRITECHNICA. Regional Meta ads complemented the organic communication during the trade show.
Take on content, topic development or campaigns wherever extra capacity or specialised production is needed.
02
Run social media continuously.
Combine planning, content, copy, publishing and ongoing management when internal time or resources are short.
03
Deliver focused campaigns.
Support product launches, trade shows or other occasions for a defined period.
The scope depends on what already works internally and where additional capacity or specialist expertise is needed.
From topic to learning
From topic planning to publishing and ongoing development.
01
Strategy & topic planning
We look at the product, audience, channels and objective, then develop a topic plan that aligns content, formats and platforms.
02
Content production
Video, photography, copy and social-first content are produced with their later use in mind – for organic posts just as much as for paid-social creatives.
03
Publishing & community management
Content is published channel by channel, comments and messages are handled, and exchange with the community is actively managed.
04
Paid Social When Needed
For product launches, trade shows, regional audiences or lead-generation objectives, we can complement organic communication with targeted paid distribution when needed.
05
Analysis & Ongoing Development
Reach, watch time, interactions and campaign results show which topics and formats should be developed further.
We plan content production and social media together.
That way, content isn't adapted to a platform in the edit – it is created with its later use already in view.
Existing footage and photography can be used alongside newly produced content.
Organic as the foundation. Paid for specific objectives.
01
Organic communication as the foundation.
Consistent visibility comes from content that fits both the platform and the audience. Successful topics and formats are continuously developed further based on their performance.
02
Paid social for specific objectives.
We use paid social where additional reach or a specific objective is needed – for product launches, trade shows, regional audiences, website traffic or leads. We develop creatives for each campaign rather than simply adding budget to existing organic posts.
03
Learn from the results.
Reach, watch time, interactions, clicks or campaign results show which topics and formats deserve to be developed further.
Specialised in technical subjects
For companies with technical products, applications and services.
on:LAND works particularly where products, applications or workflows need to be explained and shown — from machinery, vehicles and technical products to companies whose expertise becomes visible through real projects and applications.
01Do we need a social media strategy in place first?
No. We start by reviewing your existing channels, content and objectives, and then develop a fitting topic, format and channel strategy together.
02Can on:LAND produce content only, while we publish ourselves?
Yes. on:LAND can act purely as a production partner for your marketing team, or take on additional tasks such as planning and publishing.
03Can on:LAND manage our social media channels completely?
Yes. Depending on how we work together, topic planning, content production, copy, publishing and ongoing channel management can all be handled by on:LAND.

From products, projects, applications, customers, employees, trade shows and everyday business. The decisive part is selecting the topics that are genuinely relevant for your audience.

That depends on your audience, communication goals, existing content and internal resources. Not every company needs to be present on every platform.

Yes. Social media can be used for a limited period, for example around a product launch, a trade show or another specific communication task.
07Does on:LAND also handle paid social?
Yes. Organic content can be complemented with targeted paid social where useful – for specific audiences, regions, products or campaigns.
